Where to sleep in a trullo near Alberobello?

Visiting Alberobello and immersing yourself in its breathtaking views is an experience in authentic Apulian homes. Declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1996, the trulli of Alberobello are now famous worldwide. “Timeless constructions,” as art historian Émile Bertaux called them, trulli are traditional stone huts with roofs made of dry-laid stone slabs, a technique dating back to prehistoric times and still used in this region. Although these structures can be found throughout the Itria Valley, their greatest concentration is in the town of Alberobello itself, with over 1,500 structures in the Monti and Aja Piccola districts.
