Our Structure

Trulli Loco offers a wide choice of holiday homes a stone’s throw from Locorotondo, immersed in the beautiful Itria Valley.

Here you can enjoy with friends, family or your better half, a unique holiday, during which you will sleep in a traditional trullo, completely renovated and equipped with every comfort, with kitchen, private bathroom, patio, swimming pool and garden.

The structure consists of 6 independent and private lodgings, just a few metres from each other. A total of 19 comfortable beds are available, distributed in 10 bedrooms, with the possibility of adding some sofa beds. Guests have access to 8 bathrooms with showers. The composition of our trulli village is ideal for get-togethers of friends or extended families, each accommodation ensures privacy but once you cross the threshold all the spaces are an opportunity to spend unforgettable moments with friends and family.

But Trulli Loco is not just a place to stay. It is an experience that will take you on a discovery of the culture, flavours and landscapes of this splendid land, visiting the picturesque towns of Alberobello, Martina Franca, Cisternino, Ostuni, Monopoli and Polignano, where you can savour the typical products of Apulian cuisine and discover local history and traditions.

It is poetry to wake up in a trullo over the Valle d’Itria and be lulled by the cool country breeze running through the village, retracing with your senses a past time of shepherds and farmers who made our land alive.

For generations, these places have belonged to the Petrelli family of Locorotondo. Here, grandparents, sons, brothers and cousins spent years together creating a unique and unforgettable family unit. Today, by maintaining a family-run business, we want to make all our guests relive the feeling of home and unity that has always been handed down to us, so that during their holiday they can breathe in the spirit of our magnificent land.

Palma Petrelli is the historical memory of the village. Born among these trulli, she has seen their rebirth from stones that had been abandoned for years. Every corner is cared for, tidied and cleaned by her personally with extreme care and her dishes are a real treat for the palate.

Together with her, her husband Angelo Mandolla, a carpenter by profession, oversaw and financed the renovation as well as creating magnificent works in the holiday homes on the property. Her daughter Antonella manages the flats and takes care of the reception of guests down to the smallest detail, always counting on the help of her brother Gennaro, her husband Vincenzo and her sister-in-law Antoniana, who passionately leads the discovery of the Itria Valley through experiences that combine culture, gastronomy and outdoor physical activity.

Unforgettable experiences await you at our facility. The outdoor swimming pool, immersed in the beautiful Apulian countryside, in a centuries-old olive grove, offers moments of pure relaxation. The olive garden, with its colours and scents, lets you forget the hustle and bustle of the city, leading you to an oasis of peace.

Trulli il Castagno is our wine cellar, a real treasure chest, where you can taste our fine local wines, accompanied by the delicacies of typical Apulian cuisine. In the cellar, our restaurant offers the flavours of the local culinary tradition in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
