Let us see, in detail, the characteristics of the products that you can enjoy during the taste experience offered.
Pietra Viva, a white wine with a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights, enchants with an intense and delicate bouquet. Hints of white flowers and elderflower envelop the nose, anticipating a classic taste of the grape variety in which green apple stands out.
Supported by a clean citric acid and a definite mineral note, typical of the pristine red soil in which the vineyard is developed, Pietra Viva offers a unique sensory experience. Perfect as an aperitif, it elegantly accompanies delicate appetizers, fish and white meats.
1929 Moscato is a white wine made from Moscato di Trani grapes grown in Martina Franca, and comes in a 1-liter bottle with a screw cap, marrying tradition and modernity. Slow, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts gives the wine a unique complexity. After 4 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in bottle, it emerges fresh, fruity and perfect for fish dishes, salads or fresh or aged cheeses.
The 1° Luglio, a vibrant rosé wine, is characterized by a cherry brightness and a bouquet of berries and spring flowers. Tasting this rosé, aromas of raspberry and iris predominate, while grains and unripe berries such as pomegranate and black fruits emerge on the palate, accompanied by fresh acidity and citrus notes.
1° Luglio, like Pietra Viva, is also ideal for aperitifs or, alternatively, for enjoying raw seafood and white pasta dishes without tomato. Its unique taste and fruity notes are further enhanced when accompanied by baked eggplant rolls topped with mozzarella and mortadella.
Finally, Terra Viva is a deep ruby red wine with violet hues, seducing with an intense aroma of red fruits. The tannic, fine and elegant taste offers a long and persistent finish. Perfect paired with roasts, pastas with sauces, peasant soups and roasted white meat dishes.
The typical Apulian products offered by the Spalluto family do not end there. In fact, Vigna il Castagno proudly presents a delicious sparkling wine, called a Muìn, a red wine that is an expression of the Nero di Troia grape variety grown in Grottaglie, and an authentic Apulian delicacy:extra virgin olive oil, rich in beneficial properties and with an intense flavor.
