Our Structure

For generations, the trulli in this area have belonged to her original family, and the management of the holiday home is carried out as a family business, with the help of her husband Pietro and their sons Giorgio and his wife Antoniana, Alessandro, Vincenzo and his wife Antonella.

We offer authentic trullo holiday homes, each consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with shower, and one or two independent bedrooms:

• Trullo Panoramico.

All the rooms at Trulli il Castagno are equipped with a furnished patio for outdoor relaxation. Our property welcomes pets and is equipped with free Wi-Fi internet connection, heating and air conditioning, private parking, and laundry facilities for guests to wash and perfume their clothes with the characteristic scent of Puglia.

Moreover, we are committed to preserving the environment: we have rainwater recovery systems, thermal solar panels, a photovoltaic system that provides solar energy to the entire structure, and a charging station for electric bikes and cars.

Guests at Trulli il Castagno have access to the common areas of the property, such as the swimming pool, one of the main attractions of the property. Perfect for swimming or cooling off during hot days with shaded areas under the olive and cherry trees, each trullo has its own designated area with umbrellas and sun loungers.

Furthermore, the location, surrounded by cherry and olive trees, makes it an oasis of peace and tranquility. The cliffside corner of the pool is adorned with flowers and prickly pears, creating a perfect spot to admire a romantic summer sunset.

Another characteristic corner of the property is the ancient stone threshing floor, where the wheat used to be separated from the ears and the community would gather for dances and celebrations.

Today, the “chianche” of the threshing floor still represent a symbol that testifies to these traditions. The gazebo on the threshing floor, with an impressive dry-stone wall and a stone column, is ideal for relaxing in the shade during the hottest days.

A panoramic area of our Trulli il Castagno, just a few steps from the pool and the tavern, offers a breathtaking view of the Valle d’Itria. Here, you can sit and enjoy the beauty of the landscape while sipping a glass of wine, surrounded by our vineyards, vegetable gardens, and orchards.

The barbecue is supplied with wood and everything you need to prepare delicious outdoor grills in good company.

The shared vegetable gardens will provide you with the fruits of the land that you can pick and savor in your trullo, perhaps taking inspiration from our suggestions. You will be spoiled for choice with Mediterranean herbs, fruit trees such as cherries, figs, plums, and apricots, and seasonal vegetables.

Our renowned and typical local wines are kept in our cellar and paired with the delights of traditional Apulian cuisine, which you can taste in our gastronomic restaurant, in a warm and inviting atmosphere, where we offer many experiences to discover the flavors of the local cuisine.

For children, the playground represents the ideal place to have fun. Here, with ping-pong tables, slides, climbing structures, and swings, both young and old can spend carefree hours.
